Sunrise Silence at Sea: the day that starts before the sun

Leaving port while it is still dark changes your relationship with the day entirely. Sunrise Silence at Sea sails out in silence toward open water so sunrise arrives with the boat already at anchor, with an optional guided meditation and a local-produce breakfast as the sun comes up.

Why it is worth the early start

At that hour the sea is nearly empty and the light changes minute by minute. It is a very different experience from any daytime outing — slower, with an almost ceremonial quality that needs no added structure to work.

Format and group

It is roughly a three-hour experience, suited to small groups as well as couples or individuals. The guided meditation is optional: anyone who would rather just watch the sunrise in silence has a place too.
